The Family Counseling Center "Wifaq", one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development and Family, concluded the first awareness-raising art exhibition to enhance family cohesion, which was held under the title "Sanctuary" and comes within an initiative launched by the center to employ art and creativity in an innovative way in community awareness of the importance of enhancing communication between family members.
Eng. Jabr Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Center, stressed in a statement that this exhibition is one of the most important and prominent events of "Wifaq" this year, and it is a milestone in the field of the center's awareness activities.
He added that "Sanctuary" represents a reflection of an integrated vision towards building strong and cohesive families, which supports achieving one of the outcomes of the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030) in a cohesive society and maintaining strong family ties.
The exhibition presented a variety of creative artworks with the participation of a group of Qatari artists and residents of Qatar, who contributed to translating and embodying the idea and goals of "Al Malaz", through a distinguished group of creative artworks that reflected the sincerity of their thoughts, feelings and belief in the importance of the issue of family cohesion.
It is noteworthy that the "Wifaq" Center organized the "Al Malaz" exhibition in cooperation with the Fire Station: Artists' Residence and the Public Institution for the Cultural Village Katara, where art and creativity met with community awareness to embody a noble message towards strengthening family cohesion in society and educating society about the importance of family cohesion.
